Staying at Casa do Arco in Coimbra was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better, right at the foot of the main entrance to the fort. Waking up to the sound of a man practicing fado in the distance added to the charm. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated and comfortable for our group of four. The little courtyard at the Arch was a peaceful retreat. The extra touches like breakfast supplies for our first day and a bottle of wine made us feel truly welcome. Our host, Rita, went above and beyond to make our stay special. This was one of the best experiences we've ever had.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The apartment was spacious, well-decorated, and had well-defined spaces. It had all the necessary amenities, including a washing machine and clothes airer. the location was perfect, situated in a courtyard between two castle arches. the host was kind and helpful, and the apartment was clean and comfortable. the apartment was also centrally located, with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and attractions. the apartment had AC in the rooms with heating function, which was great for colder weather.
Felt truly looked after, no reason to complain.

We had an amazing Christmas stay in Coimbra! The apartment was comfortable and clean, and we really enjoyed the eclectic and trendy decor. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the historical district. We loved being surrounded by charming restaurants, bars, and pastelarias, all just a short walk away. The view from the windows was like something out of a fairytale. The fluffy towels and smooth bed linens added to the overall comfort. The welcome basket of wine, bread, fruit, cheese, and meats was a thoughtful and delicious touch.
While the overall experience was wonderful, there were a few minor issues. Finding parking was a bit confusing, as Google Maps directed us to the wrong place.
